| FJ Clip Type |
It's cover-plate has a light press-fit construction, which gives higher fatigue strength than the RJ link and easier installation than the XJ link. | PL Rivet Type |
Is the pin link which should be used wherever possible as it is the connecting link which is of the same strength and construction as the regular chain link. Specify it as PL when ordering. A riveting tool is required. |
| RJ Clip Type |
Its cover-plate is designed for a slip-fit on to the pins to enable easy installation. The RJ link should only be used on small horsepower machines or low speed application because it has less strength than the regular riveted links of the chain. |
| XJ Rivet Type |
Its cover-plate is designed for a heavy press-fit on to the pins. The XJ link provides virtually the same durability and resistance to fatigue as exhibited by regular riveted links of chain. On all medium and high horsepower machines, riveted connection to make the chain endless is recommended for maximum strength and safety. A riveting tool is required. |
| ZJ Rivet Type |
Its cover-plate is designed for press-fit on to the pins. The ZJ link provides the same durability and resistance to fatigue as exhibited by regular riveted links of chain. This race developed link will be fitted to all machines with sealed ring chains, riveted connection to make the chain endless is recommended for maximum strength and safety achieved by a unique design of shouldered pin. A riveting tool is required. |
